GATHERING, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF NON-PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

Users of the Website Generally

“Non-Personally-Identifying Information” is information that, without the aid of additional information, cannot be directly associated with a specific person. “Personally-Identifying Information,” by contrast, is information such as a name or email address that, without more, can be directly associated with a specific person. Like most website operators, Company gathers from users of the Website Non-Personally-Identifying Information of the sort that Web browsers, depending on their settings, may make available. That information includes the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser type and the locations of the websites the user views right before arriving at, while navigating and immediately after leaving the Website. Although such information is not Personally-Identifying Information, it may be possible for Company to determine from an IP address a user’s Internet service provider and the geographic location of the visitor’s point of connectivity as well as other statistical usage data. Company analyzes Non-Personally-Identifying Information gathered from users of the Website to help Company better understand how the Website is being used. By identifying patterns and trends in usage, Company is able to better design the Website to improve users’ experiences, both in terms of content and ease of use. Company may also release the Non-Personally-Identifying Information gathered from Website users in the aggregate, such as ‘Trending Articles’ , ‘Most Popular Articles’ based on usage of the Website.

CHILDREN

We will take appropriate steps to delete any Personally Identifiable Information of persons less than 13 years of age that has been collected on our Website without verifiable parental consent upon learning of the existence of such Personally Identifiable Information.

AD BLOCKING POLICY

Ad blocking or ad filtering is a type of software that can remove or alter advertising content from a webpage, website, or a mobile app. Ad blockers are available for a range of computer platforms, including desktop and laptop computers, tablet computers and smartphones. We completely understand some of our Website users wanting an advertisement-free content, by using the aforementioned ad blockers, which allow users to browse our Website without having to see the Website’s advertisement, therefore not clicking through advertisers’sites. Unfortunately (for us), as a result, this does not generate revenue for the site owner (“Us”). Everything that you read on our website is created by a passionate team of content creators and writers and we rely on revenues from advertisers to keep our content free; in fact, ad-supported content delivered online is an important mechanism for informing consumers worldwide. As such, we encourage users to support us by turning off their ad blocking software while visiting our Website or whitelist or Website address on their ad blocking software – if you have done so, we thank you sincerely and if you have not, we are cool with that too, but, do consider supporting us!
